A 4 week summer-themed course of drawing what you would expect to find in each of these places:
The beach
The café
The dance
The street
Get ready to fill a sketchbook because In each theme – we’ll be:
- Using line, shape, tone and colour to represent the figure and their character
- Drawing elements of surroundings to create atmosphere and a sense of place
- Experimenting with colour application across scenes
- Creating mood through mark-making and texture
In each class – you’ll receive input from me to help you build confidence in the task for each class. Review and input from class to class will help you grow and explore.
We’ll keep things light and lively as we share our drawings in the class and platform across the four weeks.
By the end of the course, you will have developed your drawing fluency in interpreting shapes, feeling and character from across these popular thematic areas.
Class dates: July (Saturdays) 6, 13, 20 and 27th
Format: 4 x Zoom classes of 120 minutes with demos and Q&As and community forum on Discord
(all classes - Saturdays 1600-1800 GMT) - all classes recorded so you can catch up or watch again – available for 12 months after the course.
